Angelina Jolie knows how to leave a lasting impression!

The Maleficent actress’ ex-husband, Jonny Lee Miller, stopped by Johnny Vaughan's Radio X on Wednesday, and revealed that he once jumped out of an aircraft for the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movie star, 48.

Their discussion began when Vaughan, 57, told the Elementary alum, 51, that he and his cohosts regularly have a segment where they discuss “things you do for love.”

“How have you ever tried to impress the object of your affection?” the DJ asked.

Thinking back on the moment, Miller laughed as he shared his answer.

“I jumped out of an airplane,” he said to the surprised show hosts, adding, "Well, it wasn’t my idea.”

Vaughan pressed his guest, asking Miller why he would do such a thing.

“I was dating a young lady called Angelina,” he revealed, as a graphic of Jolie popped on the screen. “And she said, ‘Let’s do something exciting this weekend.’”

The Eternals actress somehow convinced Miller to travel to Hemet, a city just outside of Los Angeles, to have a bit of fun.

Miller and Jolie met while working on the 1995 film Hackers.  Soon after, the pair tied the knot in a small civil ceremony in 1996. However, they separated just one year later, claiming that their busy schedules kept them apart.

Jolie filed for divorce in 1999, and it was finalized that same year.

Though the two went their separate ways, they remained cordial with each other in the years that followed.

In 2003, she called him a "solid man and a solid friend."

Two years later, they were seen having dinner together while in London. "There was quite a lot of laughing," an observer told PEOPLE at the time. "They were all clearly enjoying themselves. You could tell (she) and Jonny are still very good friends."

On Aug. 23, 2014, Jolie tied the knot with Brad Pitt — who she’d also met on set while filming their 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

While they have since divorced, the former couple share six children together: Maddox Chivan, 22, Zahara Marley, 19, Shiloh Nouvel, 17, Pax Thien, 20, and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 15.

In an interview for Vogue’s digital cover in September 2023, the actress reflected on how motherhood “saved” her.

“I was 26 when I became a mother. My entire life changed. Having children saved me — and taught me to be in this world differently,” she said.
