Jonesborough’s ‘Music on the Square’ kicked off Friday

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) – Jonesborough’s weekly live music “Music on the Square” returned Friday.

“Music on the Square” is free and held every Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in front of the Washington County Courthouse on Main Street in downtown Jonesborough.

The live shows feature diverse music, including jazz, bluegrass, rock, blues and Americana.

Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley performed traditional country blues to kick off this season.

A list of food trucks will be rotating each week.
