Jonathan Van Ness, Laverne Cox and more worked the red carpet at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards

The 70th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards were held over the course of two nights this past weekend, and the ceremony was filled with surprises and big wins. HBO’s Game of Thrones swept with 10 Emmys total, and James Corden unexpectedly beat out Beyoncé’s Homecoming for outstanding variety special, with his episode of Carpool Karaoke featuring Paul McCartney.

On the red carpet, many stars showed up in dramatic designs. Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness wore a Christian Siriano gown that featured a giant bow, Laverne Cox stepped out in a classic black Zac Posen gown and Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney donned an awe-inspiring red Marchesa dress.
