Golden State Warriors rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody on Saturday combined for nearly 50 points on assignment with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G League.

Kuminga finished with 21 points, six rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes of work during the 107-103 loss to the South Bay Lakers. He went 7-of-18 from the field, including 2-of-7 from 3-point range, as Santa Cruz dropped to 3-6 on the season.

Moody produced a career-high 27 points, seven rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocked shots in 32 minutes of action to lead Santa Cruz. He finished the contest by shooting 10-of-22 from the field, including 3-of-9 from beyond the arc.

The performances by Kuminga and Moody capped off a productive weekend with Santa Cruz. Kuminga recorded 27 points and 11 rebounds on Friday while Moody had 21 points, three rebounds and three assists in another loss to South Bay.

With minutes at a premium in the NBA, the two players have spent time with Santa Cruz this season. The organization views it as a great opportunity for them to get minutes and continue their development as they make the transition to the NBA.
