Jonas brothers kick Chuck Norris's grandson off new show for breaking major rule

Maxwell Norris was pretty confident during the premiere of Claim to Fame, Monday, that none of the other celebrity-adjacent contestants would figure out who his famous grandfather is.

Viewers were just as surprised as the cast to learn Maxwell was the grandson of martial arts actor Chuck Norris. And the surprises didn’t stop there.

In order to make sure none of the contestants cheat, phones are not allowed, but production spotted Maxwell sneaking one under the covers so they decided to kick him off the show for cheating.

“As you guys know, we take this very seriously,” said host Kevin Jonas. “We want you to take the game seriously. This is truly a competition.”

While Maxwell’s new found fans were disappointed in him for getting disqualified, his new found castmates were worried about what will happen when his law abiding grandfather finds out he cheated.

“Why the hell would you cheat?” asked contestant Logan. “I'd be nervous to go home to my grandfather, and my grandfather ain't even Chuck Norris. So good luck. Have fun, Max.”
