Jonas Brothers fail lie detector test on 'Carpool Karaoke'

On The Late Late Show, the Jonas Brothers wrapped up their week with James Corden to promote their reunion. While the guys have been celebrating getting the group back together, they got real about what broke them up during a round of carpool karaoke. During the carpool, the guys admitted that this was “basically their first performance back,” and that it felt like “dusting off the cobwebs.” After a light-hearted rendition of ‘Burning Up,’ Corden asked the brothers how they began their reunion, with Nick admitting that “when things ended, it was not the best.” Kevin also revealed that filming their new documentary was like “forced therapy.” Nick admits that he broke the band up, but that he also “got them back together,” explaining that “there was a magic when we’re together that we would all love to feel again.” Despite Corden’s best attempts to stir the pot about their break up, the brothers are stronger than ever, recently announcing new music, a documentary with Amazon, and an upcoming tour. Fans have been rejoicing to finally have the group back together.

Their latest single, Sucker, shot to number one on iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music. While Corden was happy to hear how much the brothers have healed, he wanted to make sure they got everything out in the open by bringing in a lie detector test. During the test, the Jo Bros reveal a lot about each other. For instance, Kevin is the brother that gets on Joe’s nerves the most. When asked if Nick ever got tired of his many weddings--18 to be exact--to Priyanka Chopra, he admitted that he did, but joked that it was “only when I looked at the bill.” The trio also got candid about their early days. From purity rings to Disney, they discussed what it was like to grow up in the public eye, with Nick explaining that Joe was “allergic to authority.” The guys decided to play it coy about what happened to their purity rings, but considering Kevin and Nick are married and Joe is engaged, it’s safe to assume the rings are safely tucked away. While belting out another song, Corden joked "I mean I swear to God if I had a purity ring on at the start of that song it's coming off by the end,” proving that the brothers still have their original magic.
