The Jonas Brothers' Music Video Has a Major Royal Connection — and It’s Not Just the Corgi Cameo!

The Jonas Brothers had a VIP costar in their new music video for “Sucker” — in addition to their three scene-stealing leading ladies!

The sibling trio shot their new video at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire (21 miles north of London), which happens to be the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I. The monarch lived in the Jacobean mansion during the 16th century.

Elizabeth I has a special cameo in the video. During the dining room scene, a portrait of the monarch can be seen hanging in the background.

And there was even a nod to the current Queen of England! Kevin Jonas’ wife, Danielle Jonas’ is seen walking a bevy of adorable corgis in the video. Corgis are Queen Elizabeth II’s beloved breed of pups. The furry companions, who have traveled with the Queen between her various homes, are synonymous with the sovereign.

Lady Elizabeth was sent to live in the royal palace at just 3 months old by her father, Henry VIII, as it was deemed the ideal location for a young princess to grow up. According to historians, Lady Elizabeth Tudor was sitting beneath an oak tree at her Hatfield estate in 1558 when she got the news that she was Queen of England.

Today, there are two Hatfield locations — the new Hatfield House, which was where filming for the Jonas Brothers’s music video took place, and the nearby original Royal Palace of Hatfield, where the monarch was raised.

The newer Hatfield House is now occupied by the 7th Marquess of Salisbury and his family, but it is open to the public for a limited time each year. It reopens this year on April 6.

The Jonas Brothers weren’t the only ones interested in the stunning estate as a filming location. Other productions filmed at Hatfield House include The Favourite, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2, Shakespeare in Love, Wonder Woman and The Crown.

The Jonas Brothers’ sexy video features appearances from Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas’ lovely leading ladies: Danielle Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, and Sophie Turner.
