Jonah Hill Recalls the Joke He Told While Officiating Adam Levine’s Wedding

If Jonah Hill is involved in something, you expect it to be funny. And Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s July 2014 wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, was no exception.

On Wednesday, Hill appeared on The Howard Stern Show, where he recalled the joke he told while officiating the couple’s nuptials. “The joke I wrote was like, ‘Adam and I grew up together … it’s so nice to see all the people we grew up skateboarding with … like Stevie Nicks and Robert Downey Jr.,” Hill cracked, explaining that he was kind of giving Levine “s*** because he had really famous people at his wedding.”

The War Dogs star also confessed that he felt the pressure to deliver on Levine and Prinsloo’s special day and was “drained” once the ceremony was over. “I left the party after like 30 minutes,” he revealed.

In case you didn’t know, Adam and Jonah go way back. They’re dads actually met in junior high and, as a result, their families have been friends forever. “Adam Levine is genuinely like family to me,” Hill said of his relationship with the Maroon 5 frontman. “We’re literally like brothers.”
