Titled “An Evening With Jon Stewart,” the Live Nation-produced tour will comprise of only five dates, kicking off on March 1 at Bardavon 1869 Opera House in Poughkeepsie, NY and making stops in York, PA, Princeton, NJ and Stamford, before wrapping up in Wilmington, DE at The Grand Opera House on April 27.

Tickets will be available starting with the general onsale today, Feb 13 at 2 p.m. ET at events.seated.com/jon-stewart.

The announcement of the limited-run tour comes only a day after Stewart’s highly anticipated return to “The Daily Show.” After scuttling a months-long search for a new host, the Paramount Global network announced it had enlisted Stewart, who presided over the late-night mainstay’s most popular era, to serve as its host on Monday nights throughout the 2024 election cycle and to run the program. He is expected to play an oversight role at “The Daily” that could extend through 2025, and started his on-air duties on Monday night.

In her review of Stewart’s return to “The Daily Show,” Variety TV critic Alison Herman wrote that “anyone who has living memories of the War on Terror is powerless to resist Stewart’s particular blend of cynicism and moral righteousness. Yet the lack of pomp and circumstance around his return means that its meta aspects become the most meaningful.”
