Jon Hamm on Whether a ‘Mad Men’ Movie Is Possible

Yahoo Movies recently invited the cast of Keeping Up With the Joneses to our Los Angeles studios. Jon Hamm, Gal Gadot, Isla Fisher, and Zach Galifianakis sat down with Kevin Polowy to chat about their new comedy.

While we had Hamm in the studio, Kevin asked him if we would see a cinematic undertaking of his most famous role, Don Draper, in the critically acclaimed AMC series Mad Men. Hamm didn’t seem to think so. “I can’t imagine why there would be one,” he shared. “No, I don’t think so … the story ended the way it ended, and I don’t know what you would do.”

Hamm did think that the Mad Men universe could provide other stories. “I certainly think there could be sort of, some kind of story that could be a spinoff of that world, but I don’t think that we need to see any more Don Draper,” he said. “We saw a lot of that.”
