Jon Gosselin Teams Up With Son Collin to Saw Down Family Christmas Tree
Jon Gosselin's not afraid to get his hands a little dirty, as the former reality star took his son and girlfriend to pick out a tree for Christmas, and then promptly got to work and cut it down. Gosselin's girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, shared some photos and video from over the weekend as she joined Jon and 15-year-old Collin Gosselin to a local tree farm in Pennsylvania. Father and son can be seen posing next to the beautiful Fraser fir they chose to anoint as their own Christmas tree.

Saw in hand, Jon stands triumphantly next to his son while wearing a puffy red jacket. Collin also has a huge smile on his face, which is a big moment for the teen, as the last few years of his life have been filled with turmoil. A video shows Jon and Collin loading the tree on to a cart to get it packed up and taken home.
Collin has been living with Jon for the past year ever since he was able to spring him from a mental health facility. Collin's mother, Kate Gosselin, had sent the troubled boy to the facility in Philadelphia, where he remained for three years.
Collin began living with his father, and his sister Hannah soon joined after deciding she did not want to live with her mother.
Jon had been silent about the situation, but earlier this year he made bombshell claims against his ex-wife after a gag order from their divorce was lifted. Jon claimed, among other things, that Kate engaged in regularly mentally abusing their eight children. She has since denied the claims but refused to get into a public spat with her ex-husband.
New Traditions
Jon's girlfriend Colleen also showed off the finished Christmas tree after it had been decorated by the family, which glittered in red and gold ribbon, ornaments and twinkling lights. It's one of many new traditions that the Gosselins are experiencing during the holidays.
Back in November, Jon revealed that he was taking Collin and Hannah on a tropical vacation for the Thanksgiving holiday, along with Colleen and her family. The family flew to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands and spent Thanksgiving relaxing in paradise. Gosselin said it was to be the first real vacation he had ever taken with his kids and he was extremely excited.
