JoJo Siwa Just Admitted That She Spent $50K on Her Teeth: Here's Why

The singer and dancer was asked the most expensive thing she's wearing at the GLAAD Media Awards

JoJo Siwa isn't afraid to take control of her appearance.

Just look at the KISS-inspired getup she wore to the iHeartRadio Music Awards on April 1. Siwa stepped out in a black and silver outfit with KISS-like makeup, even garnering Gene Simmons' approval. While it's a far cry from her bow-wearing days of yesteryear, it falls in line with her new ethos of doing what she wants.

Also in line with that? Fixing her teeth because she felt like it.

At the GLAAD Media Awards on March 14, BuzzFeed Now asked Siwa about the most expensive thing was wearing and after thinking about it for a moment, she replied, "My teeth."

"These mother f---ers cost me $50 grand," she continued while laughing.

Siwa's pearly white veneers are the work of Beverly Hills, Calif.-based cosmetic dentist Dr. Kevin Sands. He worked with Siwa to create the custom veneers to fit the aesthetic she was looking for to perfectly suit her.

The commenters on BuzzFeed Now's TikTok couldn't get enough of her admitting to what she actually spent on her smile.

Several of them left comments in appreciation for her realness on dropping the dollar amount for her dental work, especially because it's transparent but shows she cares about her appearance. Plus, as many pointed out, it's just funny to tell thousands of people that you spent that much money on your teeth.

Siwa is currently in the midst of her new era, which has been an overhaul from her previously child-like era. She just released her new song "Karma," and along with it came a racy music video that finds Siwa dressed in a few different outfits that are pretty revealing for the former Dance Moms star.

Among the outfits is a sheer cutout catsuit (very Britney Spears!) studded with crystals. She also wears a two-piece set with silver hot pants and a vest with statement shoulders. She amps it up by wearing the cutout vest with nothing underneath and giving the shorts a sexy twist with ties up the side.
