Johnny Weir gets the gold on Winter Olympics 'Lip Sync Battle'

American figure skating legends-turned-commentators Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir traded their headsets for dancing shoes on an Olympic-sized Lip Sync Battle. The two are analysts for NBC, but before they headed to PyeongChang, South Korea, they went head to head to see who would take home the LSB belt.

Lipinski kicked things off with “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled, and she just couldn’t help but pull out her gold medal from the 1998 Olympics during her performance. But she would soon learn she may have gotten a little ahead of herself with her song choice.

For his first song, Weir chose the Celine Dion megahit from Titanic, “My Heart Will Go On,” and it may have been the most spirited performance of the ballad you’re likely to see. With what was supposed to represent the Titanic, Weir whisked and flailed around the stage in a way Celine Dion could only dream of … though it’s unlikely she ever would.

Next, Lipinski performed “Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani, complete with about a dozen backup dancers, a marching band, and of course, B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Though Lipinski gave two great performances, it just wasn’t enough once Weir channeled his inner Lady Gaga and performed one of her early hits, “Paparazzi.” Though it wasn’t by any means a blowout, the crowd definitely chose Weir to take home the belt.

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Paramount Network.
