Johnny Knoxville Crashes Sami Zayn’s Netflix Comedy Show

Johnny Knoxville will not let his feud with Sami Zayn die.

The fair were locked in a heated rivalry in 2022, leading up to WrestleMania 38. Knoxville played multiple pranks on the WWE Superstar, including leaking his phone number to fans, who inundated Zayn with calls and messages.

This led up to a fantastic match at WrestleMania 38, where Johnny Knoxville defeated Sami Zayn thanks to help from the Jackass crew and a plethora of tricks and traps.

Despite this being over two years ago, the Dukes of Hazzard star is not letting it go. He appeared at Sami Zayn’s stand-up show for the Netflix Is a Joke festival on the weekend, which was posted on Twitter.

Disguised with a wig and fake moustache, he rushed to the stage to hurl insults at the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Johnny Knoxville heckled, “Where’s Kevin Owens to make you look interesting?”, much to the shock of the live crowd.

Zayn asked Knoxville what his problem was, to which he ingeniously replied, “Your face!”. This angered the WWE star, who invited him up on stage. This is where he revealed himself to be none other than Johnny Knoxville, and continued to hurl insults towards Zayn.

“You look like one of Brock Lesnar’s shits came to life. You look like if the Wendys logo was one a plant based diet” Johnny Knoxville joked, before Becky Lynch came onto the stage.

After he went a bit far with the insults, Becky Lynch joined Johnny Knoxville and Sami Zayn on stage. Lynch encouraged the Jackass star to say one nice thing about his rival.

Knoxville originally sounded sincere, but turned sour quickly. He said ‘From my heart, I respect that you speak four languages. Arabic, French, English and “winey bitch!”‘.

This was the last straw for Zayn, who demanded security remove Johnny Knoxville from the stage. However, he quickly returned to the stage, and the pair hugged it out, seemingly putting aside their differences.

But alas, it was all a ruse! Wee-man made a shock appearance, hitting Sami Zayn in the nuts before levelling him with a body slam. It was reminiscent of their moment at WrestleMania 38.

Johnny Knoxville was dragged off-stage as he shouted “F you Sami Zayn”, after electrocuting him with a cattle prod. It seems likely that we could see a rematch between the two, based on this interaction at the comedy festival.
