John Travolta's Son Is Following In His Footsteps, 'Ben Is Taking My Place!'
John Travolta is a well-known pilot and aviation enthusiast but who knew that his son would become the actors "mini-me?"
The 65-year-old star shared an adorable picture of his 8-year-old son, Ben posing behind the controls of a huge airplane. "My son Ben is taking my place! His first A380 @qantas flight," Travolta wrote in the caption of his post. The photo shows Ben wearing a pilot's hat while posing for the camera. John's wife, Kelly Preston, reposted the cute snap and wrote, "Following in Johnny‘s footsteps! Love this!!"
Travolta became a Qantas ambassador in 2002 and gave them a shoutout in his post.

John and Kelly are the proud parents of Ella Bleu Travolta, 19, Benjamin Travolta, 8, and Jett Travolta, who tragically passed away at the age of 17 in 2009. The "Grease" star has enjoyed sharing his family activities on his social media accounts.
The star recently shared their family adventures at a zoo in Australia. "At the @featherdalewildlifepark with the kids," the star wrote to accompany a great picture and funny video of their animal interactions. John can be seen singing and dancing with a kangaroo and a tiny crocodile.
What's The Big Deal With an A380?
Travolta and Ben were impressed by the piece of machinery they were checking out and the aircraft is impressive to everyone even if you don't know anything about aviation. The A380 the world's largest passenger airliner and is manufactured by Airbus. The plane can fit up to 868 passengers, 538 on the main deck and 330 on the upper level of the craft.
Qantas reportedly has a fleet of the aircraft but they have announced that they will be phasing out the planes by 2029, according to SimpleFlying.com
Travolta Shows Off Bald Look For 1 Million Follower Milestone
Ben's most notable appearance on his famous father's Instagram came when dad and son celebrated hitting the one million follower mark on the social media platform. Travolta shared a video of Ben and he riding dirt bikes when he expressed his appreciation.
"Hey there! Ben Travolta, John Travolta here. We're dirt biking today and we just got the great news that it's hit over a million followers on Instagram," Travolta said while thanking the fans. "We love you, we thank you and also thanks for liking the new hairdo."
That was the first time that John acknowledged his lack of locks and fans were all for the shiny new look. "I love you new hair ❤️❤️❤️❤️," one fan said while another wrote, "You look handsome in all of your looks....this one is no exception!"
Meet and Grease
The star has been using his large audience to promote his projects, including his "Grease" Sing-A-Long that he recently announced he was participating in with his co-star Olivia Newton-John.
Travolta announced on Instagram that Newton-John and he are participating in "Meet n Grease Movie Sing-a-long with Danny and Sandy" in West Palm Beach, Florida this month.
"Join me and Olivia Newton-John for the “Meet ‘n’ Grease” Movie sing-a-long!" Travolta wrote in the caption of his post. "Dress up, sing-a-long with film, and join Olivia and I for a special Q&A."
Newton-John will be attending despite her battle with cancer.
