John Travolta Is A Terrifyingly Creepy Stalker In 'The Fanatic,' Directed By Fred Durst
You've probably never seen John Travolta play a celebrity stalker, but you're not likely to forget it anytime soon. The trailer for The Fanatic, directed by Fred Durst, is out now, and is altogether creepy.
Just a Fan
Like many horror film trailers, things start out innocently enough. Travolta plays Moose, a fan of celebrity Hunter Dunbar, played by Devon Sawa.
Moose has a weird gait, too, and an unusual short haircut, which adds to his creepiness.
Funny Thing About Fanatics
But Moose is having a tough time getting close to Hunter. There's a quick scene where Moose gets upset because he can't get his autograph. Then he's seen asking a friend about how to find celebrity homes. The friend warns him about not turning into a celebrity stalker, and then things get really dark.
Home Invasion
Somehow Moose gets into Hunter's home. Hunter is later seen tied up in his bed. There's cans of gasoline involved, a hockey mask, and of course large, sharp knives.
