John Stamos isn't planning on expanding his family anytime soon.

While speaking with PEOPLE for this week's issue, the Full House star, 60, opened up about the potential of growing his family with wife Caitlin McHugh Stamos, 37. The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, is already parents to son Billy, 5.

Asked if the actor has any plans to have more kids, Stamos tells PEOPLE, "We did, but it just doesn't seem like it's in the cards."

"By the way, [Billy's] asked for a kid all the time, like a brother or sister. If we take three minutes of not paying attention to him, he goes crazy," he adds.

"He could never deal with a sibling. No, I know he couldn't. He'd like it at first. Oh, there's a little baby, then me. We got to deal with a kid."

In August, Stamos celebrated his 60th birthday with his son by his side, sharing a glimpse at their day on Instagram. In a sweet video, Stamos and Billy lay together in a bed as the actor asked his son, "Do you know how happy I am that I turned 60, and I have such a wonderful son like you?" to which Billy replied, "So happy."

Later in the video, Billy adorably told his famous dad, "You don't look 60. You look baby." In response, Stamos said, "How old do I look? How old do you really think I look?" which prompted Billy to reiterate, "Baby. And also, you're 60."

The video concluded with a montage of family moments and audio of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka telling Charlie at the end of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, "Don't forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he always wanted — He lived happily ever after."

"I’m right where I’m supposed to be at 60! Thank you for all the birthday wishes and love," Stamos captioned the sweet father-son video. "I hope to give back to you what you have given me, a wonderful life."

On Billy's birthday earlier this year, Stamos celebrated his son with pictures from his Spider-Man/Pokémon/Sonic the Hedgehog-themed birthday party on Instagram.

“There is a conceit in corny romcoms where the protagonist says, 'You complete me.' As a Disney guy, I'm down with a certain level of sentimentalism and sappiness, but I never really understood the idea of being 'completed.' I get it now," Stamos wrote in his caption.

The Big Shot star continued, "I still have a lot to do, but if my whole life was one sentence, then Billy would be the exclamation mark at the end of it.”
