John Stamos Includes Lori Loughlin In His Touching 'Fuller House' Instagram Post

Back in the 1980's and early 1990's ABC's hit television sitcom Full House kept audiences entertained by portraying a family of three men raising three little girls in the aftermath of their mother's untimely passing. The show starred Bob Saget as the father, Dave Coulier as his best friend and John Stamos as his brother-in-law. The show went on to become one of the most popular series of its time and only increased in popularity with viewers after Stamos' character Uncle Jesse married Lori Loughlin's character, Aunt Becky.

When the show was updated for a reboot on Netflix in 2016 titled Fuller House fans of the original were delighted to be reunited with their favorite characters. Notably missing, of course, were the actresses who portrayed the youngest daughter, twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, since they've gone on to become media moguls and fashion mavens. But the majority of the cast returned, including Stamos and Loughlin, to reprise the roles they originated back in the '80s and '90s. And many were happy to see them.

The show is currently preparing for their final season, without Loughlin. Primarily her role was immediately cut after she was caught up in a college admissions scandal that has left her fans disgusted and disappointed with her actions. But she still has a few supporters, with Stamos being one of the most vocal. Fox News reports that in a touching post to his Instagram Stamos shared a few pictures of the entire cast behind the scenes to show how close they were even after all of this time. He even included Loughlin in the photos.

Feeling sentimental to say goodbye once again in the post, Stamos added;

“The end of an era ... again. Last night was the final taping of @FullerHouse. When every single network and streamer said no to a Full House reboot, (and I mean ALL of them) @netflix said yes!” he wrote. “And they were kind enough to let us play for five seasons! That’s a lot of seasons for a Netflix show nowadays, but not nearly enough for us.”

He continued;

He continued: “I am especially grateful to the cast and crew for keeping the legacy alive and adding so much love to it. Whether you are new to the Full/Fuller House universe or you’ve been with us since the beginning, I can’t thank you enough for keeping the franchise alive, the characters alive, but most importantly, the love alive between all of us that shines out to all of you.

It's nice to see Loughlin still has the support of an old friend. And the rest of the cast seems to be just as supportive as he's been.
