John Oliver takes dig at Uber Eats for Diddy ad after federal investigation home raids

John Oliver isn’t impressed by his Benjamins.

On Sunday night’s episode of HBO’s Emmy-winning news satire show “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver,” the comedian talked about food delivery apps.

During his segment, Oliver blasted Uber Eats for the company’s 2023 Super Bowl commercial with Sean “Diddy” Combs.

“I’m guessing Uber Eats might be regretting that last one right now,” Oliver, 46, quipped.

He was referring to the serious allegations and legal woes now facing the “All About the Benjamins” rapper and hip hop mogul.

In the Super Bowl spot, Diddy, 53, is shown helping the food delivery service come up with a song to attract customers, asking executives: “You want a hit?”

In the Super Bowl spot, Diddy then shepherds various musicians through recordings, such as “Milkshake” singer Kelis and “This Is How We Do It” singer Montell Jordan.

On Monday, March 25, Diddy saw his homes in Los Angeles and Miami raided as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation, according to law enforcement.

Law enforcement sources told The Post that feds raided Diddy’s homes in order to seize his phones and computers. They also alleged there would be further raids on houses in New York and Chicago linked to the music mogul.

Sources further told The Post that the raids were led by Homeland Security Investigations’ Human Trafficking Task Force, based on a search warrant issued by the Southern District of New York.

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” HSI told The Post.

Related to this incident, sources told Rolling Stone that at least four Jane Does and one John Doe have been interviewed by New York prosecutors in connection to the sex trafficking allegations and a RICO case.

Just hours after the raids, Diddy was spotted pacing back and forth outside a Miami airport. He was later spotted smiling and greeting fans in the area on Friday and Saturday.

Combs also faced several allegations of rape in November 2023.

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura — the musician known as Cassie — accused the hitmaker of rape and abuse in a lawsuit filed at the time.

She alleged that Diddy had a pattern of abuse and control that included allegedly forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed them, physically abusing her and supplying her with drugs.

Diddy’s attorney Ben Brafman denied the accusations to Page Six, and claimed that Ventura had been demanding money from Diddy.

The case was settled out of court just one day after the filing.

Following the settlement with Ventura, Combs was hit with additional lawsuits from women claiming he sexually assaulted them, which he denied.

Diddy’s spokesperson called the claims “fabricated” in a statement to Page Six.

In February, Diddy was further sued by former employee Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who accused the rapper of committing sexual assault while the pair worked on Diddy’s 2023 album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid.”

Combs’ attorney Shawn Holley said at the time, “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar.”
