GREEN BAY - John Mellencamp is keeping this year's Live and In Person Tour going into 2024, and that means Green Bay is getting a stop.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee will perform March 25 at The Weidner, a venue he has sold out multiple times, including his last appearance there in April 2019. It will be his fourth visit to the 2,000-seat hall known for its impeccable acoustics.

Green Bay is one of 27 new cities announced for the 2024 itinerary, each billed as "one night only." The tour begins March 8 in Rochester, New York, and wraps April 22 in Savannah, Georgia. As he did this year, he's playing performing arts centers, theaters and auditoriums.

He'll perform March 26, the night after Green Bay, at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison.

Mellencamp teased the tour last week on social media with a post that said "We are coming to YOUR town soon." It didn't list cities but showed dots of destinations on a map of the country.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, according to the announcement on his website. Prices are $57.50, $91.50, $114 and $171. Presales will run from Tuesday through Thursday. Register at mellencamp.com for the presale mailing list.

In addition to a deep catalog of hits that includes "Pink Houses," "Small Town" and "Jack and Diane," Mellencamp, 72, will perform music from his 25th studio album, "Orpheus Descending," which came out in June and is considered one of his most personal records to date.
