The Talk - John McCook Says Eric Forrester 'makes choices which I don't agree'; Dishes on Donna Affair

Friday on "The Talk" John McCook dishes on his "Bold and the Beautiful' Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor. "It's pretty cool, you now, I've been nominated before...it is a big deal, and especially for this storyline. This was very controversial when we started it, and a lot of people didn't like it, and a lot of people did. And so, it was rich and full and for me to have to figure out how to play this...it worked out well. Very dramatic stuff, wonderful to play," McCook says. "He made a decision that I did not agree with, and I'm not sure I want to play this, that goes through my mind. And then it's, I'll play it, as long as I know that my friend Eric Forrester, the character, as long as I know that he's going to realize that it was wrong, and he can explain why he felt he wanted to do it. Then I can come around, okay, I can play this, because I know I'm going to come out the other end of it...You know, Eric is my friend. He's my friend for 35 years. He makes choices which I don't agree, but that's him, and I always wish him well." On his character currently having an affair with him ex-wife, Donna, he jokes, "It's like I go back to her because, it was wonderful. And we can skip a lot of that where did you go to school, where did you grow up, we can skip all that and get right to it."
