Ahead of the Global Citizen Prize Awards, which are all about giving leaders acknowledgment for doing critically needed work to end extreme poverty, many of music's biggest names are teaming up together to make a difference.

In songs meant to inspire hope and promote activism, Tori Kelly, JoJo and more are collaborating for the album Stand Up available now on iHeartRadio, TIDAL, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube, and Deezer.

Also featured on the album, executive produced by Raphael Saadiq, are the musical combos of PJ Morton and Yola, Andra Day and Chelsea Collins, Ari Lennox and GoldLink, Jordin Sparks and MILCK, Bonfyre and Massage and Lucky Daye and BJRNCK and Big Freedia.

“It was an honor to work on Stand Up with Global Citizen and such incredible artists, who all came together for this passion project in a year that has been so difficult for so many," Saadiq said in a statement of the album release Friday. "During this time, music has played a key role in keeping us all connected and my hope for those who listen is to feel empowered to create change."

PEOPLE previously reported that Sir Elton John is being honored by the Global Citizen Prize Awards with the Global Citizen of the Year Prize for his tireless efforts to end the AIDS epidemic through the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The awards show, which will be hosted by John Legend, will also be giving some well-deserved recognition to Bryan Stevenson (Global Citizen of the Year), Temie Giwa-Tubosun (Global Citizen Business Leader), President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen (Global Citizen World Leader), Warren Buffett (Global Citizen Prize for Philanthropy), the Sesame Workshop (Global Citizen Prize for Culture & Education) and the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter Movement, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi (Global Citizen Prize for Activism).

The winner of the fifth category, the Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award, will be announced Saturday during the show.

"We are honored to celebrate this year's ‘Global Citizen Prize’ winners who have made it their life’s mission to be the change we want to see in the world,” Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen, said in a statement. “Our hope is that through this award, their leadership will inspire people all around the world to make an impact in their own communities, at a time when the world needs it most!”

In addition to Legend who will also perform, the awards show, which will honor those around the world making extraordinary efforts to lift up the world's most vulnerable, will also feature performances by Alessia Cara, Carrie Underwood, Common, Gwen Stefani, Jojo and Kelly.

On top of the star-studded musical lineup, the Global Citizen Prize Awards will also have appearances by Miley Cyrus, Oprah Winfrey, Katie Coruic, Usher, Scott Evans, John Oliver, Nick Jonas, wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
