John Legend and Chrissy Teigen just sold not one but two adjoining penthouses in Manhattan's Nolita neighborhood, for a combined total of $18 million. The listing was held by Noble Black, David Son, Jennifer Stillman, and Corinne (Cory) Cahlon of Douglas Elliman.

Located at 374 Broome Street, these apartments boast six bedrooms across nearly 6,200 square feet inside a landmarked 19th-century building known as the Brewster Carriage House.

"We’ve realized that because of work and everything, we’re really mostly going to be in Los Angeles, so we’re going to focus our home-building energy and renovation energy on what we’re doing in L.A.," Legend recently told The Wall Street Journal.

The duplex apartment consists of a private penthouse on the building's sixth floor and half of the fifth floor. The couple purchased the respective units in 2018 for $9.02 million and in 2020 for $7.7 million. As for the building, it was built in 1856 and converted into a condominium in 2012, with nine units in total and a part-time doorman.

Features of the pad include a private outdoor rooftop terrace, three gas fireplaces, 12-foot-high ceilings, numerous skylights, radiant heat flooring, Miele appliances, and custom milled white oak floors.

In true celebrity real estate fashion, Legend and Teigen have been making business deals left and right in recent years—they recently sold their Beverly Hills home for $16.8 million last year and they purchased a West Hollywood abode for $5.1 million in 2020.
