John Goodman Reunites With His ‘Roseanne’ Daughter Sara Gilbert on ‘The Talk’

Actor John Goodman stopped by The Talk to promote his new movie, Kong: Skull Island, and was reunited with his TV daughter, Talk co-host Sara Gilbert. Gilbert played Darlene Conner to Goodman’s Dan Conner on Roseanne.

The two reprised their roles in a hilarious sketch, where Gilbert “comes out” to Goodman, telling him, “I don’t know how to say this. I’m a talk show host.” Goodman then tells the openly gay Gilbert, “I thought you were gonna tell me you were gay,” to which she responds, “Let’s save something for halftime.”

Goodman chatted with the hosts of The Talk about how it felt to be back on that iconic couch, and the possibility of a Roseanne reboot.
