John Goodman once received a 'filthy' letter from a fan - so he hid it on the 'Roseanne' set

John Goodman stopped by Live with Kelly and Ryan today and revealed some secrets about the set of the Roseanne reboot. He specifically shared some bizarre details about a letter he once received that is currently located in the freezer on set. Goodman explained that he got a “filthy mash note … written to him” from the “sexy streets of sexy Philadelphia.” Laurie Metcalf and the rest of the cast of Roseanne did have some fun with the letter while on set, and recited it multiple times.

But that’s not the only thing in the freezer: Goodman went on to share details about more hidden objects. They also have a “garbage pail kid doll in there that we call Stinky.”

Goodman even went on to reveal how cast members remember their lines. He said that “scripts are [tucked] under plates” everywhere to help them.
