John Early debuts Britney Spears impression on Conan
John Early sat down with Conan O’Brien on Monday night to talk to the host about his upcoming comedy series, Search Party — and to deliver a Britney Spears impression that he assured the audience was “iconic.”
When asked about the many character impressions that Early performs in his Netflix special, The Characters, the comedian offered to dive into Spears’ “Lucky” after taking a request from audience members to verify that the impression isn’t “rigged.” He also refused to sing “Toxic,” citing that the speed of the song makes it difficult for people to hear “the nuances of the impression.”
