John Cena, Shay Shariatzadeh reportedly marry in quiet ceremony in Tampa, Florida

John Cena is reportedly a married man once again!

The WWE star and actor quietly tied the knot with his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in a ceremony in Tampa, Florida, according to E! News and Entertainment Tonight.

USA TODAY has reached out to Cena's reps for comment and further details.

According to the outlets, Cena and Shariatzadeh were first romantically linked after they were photographed together in Vancouver, Canada in March 2019. The couple later appeared on the red carpet together at the "Playing With Fire" premiere in October 2019.

In an interview with Access in January, Cena opened up about keeping his love life out of the spotlight.

"I think it's, like with anything, if you set a goal, stick to the goal," he said. "With anything you choose to do, if you choose to do something, set up a structure that will protect it. I have a goal for sharing certain things with everybody and keeping certain things for me."

On Oct. 9, Cena took to Twitter to share a message about surrendering to love.

"Love involves constant effort," he wrote. "When you are truly ready to let love in and give to love all it needs to flourish, I feel there is no greater more rewarding connection."

Cena was married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 to 2012 and was later engaged to former WWE star Nikki Bella, until they announced their split in 2018. In January, Bella revealed her engagement to dancer Artem Chigvintsev, and they welcomed their first child, son Matteo Artemovich, on July 31.

Bella and Chigvintsev met on Season 25 of "Dancing With the Stars" in 2017, when the wrestler was paired with the Russian dancer. They finished in seventh place.
