John Cena Addresses Fans At WWE Superstar Spectacle
John Cena says he dreamed of competing in India for 20 years.
Cena wrestled in India for the first time on September 8, as he main-evented WWE Superstar Spectacle. He joined forces with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to defeat Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium.
In a post-match promo (via @JohnCenaCrews on Twitter), Cena delivered an emotional message to the live crowd.
“I just want everybody to be able to hear what I’m saying. It’s brief, but what I have to say tonight means a whole heck of a lot to me. Thank you for allowing me to be here tonight. You know, sometimes we feel something inside that grabs us emotionally and we feel like we’re alone.
“I want to share this with y’all and you can let me know if I’m alone or not, but I’m gonna share it anyway. I’ve been imaging this moment right here for 20 years. I wanted to end tonight by saying this moment was far greater than I could’ve ever imagined.”
