Game of Thrones actor John Bradley joins Kyle Meredith to talk about starring in Netflix’s 3 Body ProblemListen to the new episode above, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Bradley discusses reconnecting with Game of Thrones heads David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for the new series, as well as how the process for 3 Body Problem differed from that of the hugely popular HBO show. In particular, he talks about how his role was created with him in mind, which he saw as an opportunity to try and break away from his Samwell Tarly reputation. He even admits to not having much interest in the prospect of joining the long-rumored Jon Snow spinoff. “Having been away from it for five years, when I think about it, that character of Sam seems like he’s behind glass now,” he says. “I can’t access him anymore.”

Elsewhere, the actor, a self-proclaimed The Beatles obsessive, gives his take on the Fab Four’s final song, “Now and Then.” “I loved it, but it kind of was always gonna be like that. As soon as you find out it’s a John song, and as soon as you find out it’s The Beatles’ final song, there’s a poignancy in that,” he says. “But part of me was thinking, ‘Wouldn’t it be amazing if The Beatles’ last song ever turned out to be a rock and roller?'”
