Joe Quinn, Jenny Pacanowski, & Patrick Dowdell From Task & Purpose: Veterans Panel for 9/11

Join veterans as they discuss the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Joe Quinn is the Director of Leadership Development for Veteran Service Organization, Team Red, White & Blue (RWB). He spent six years in the United States Army, where he served two deployments in Iraq. Patrick Dowdell entered West Point in July 2002 and graduated in May 2006. Dowdell was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the field artillery and was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division, deploying to Iraq from 2008-2009, and Afghanistan from 2010-2011. Dowdell’s father, Kevin, was killed while conducting rescue operations with the Fire Department of New York in the south tower of the World Trade Center, and Quinn’s brother was killed while working for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 101st floor of the north tower. Jenny Pacanowski is a poet/combat veteran/facilitator/public speaker who has facilitated writing workshops throughout the country for veterans in an effort to ease the transition from military culture.
