Joe Moorhead asks if player knows his ring size upon arrival in Starkville (Video)
It did not take long for Joe Moorhead to become one of the most popular men in Starkville, Mississippi.
Moorhead, the former Penn State offensive coordinator, was formally announced as the new Mississippi State head coach Wednesday. He arrived in Starkville Wednesday evening and was greeted by swarm of cowbell-ringing Bulldogs fans.

Moorhead played all the right notes, shaking hands, posing for photos and signing cowbells. He even was handed a dog for one photo, much to the confusion of Bully (in the background).
Beyond his general friendliness, something he said to one of the players on hand will probably catch the attention of the fanbase as well. Moorhead was greeted by three MSU players and asked to see the hand of tight end Farrod Green.
Why? Gotta check out the ring size, of course.
Aiming high.
“You know your ring size? You better find out.”
