Joe Manganiello reveals the wildest “True Blood” fan fiction he's ever seen: 'They f---ed'

Manganiello complimented the comic book without reading it or knowing just how graphic it got.

While the subject of fan fiction may not trawl the internet looking to see who fans are shipping, it does occasionally reach their eyes. And Joe Manganiello has seen some things.

The Deal or No Deal Island host was asked to share the "wildest piece of True Blood fan fiction" he's seen during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live and he recalled a moment he'll probably never forget — a fan giving him an X-rated comic book at a convention.

"Someone spent a year drawing a comic book and then gave it to me," the frequently shirtless former werewolf revealed. "I said, 'Oh, this is amazing.' And then I saw them the next day and they said, 'Did you like my comic?' I said, 'Of course, it was amazing. You know, you put so much work into it.' I didn't read it, but I went on and on about how great it was."

Then he finally read it. "It was him as an anthropomorphic rabbit meeting an anthropomorphic wolf man and then..."

Host Andy Cohen interjected, "They f---ed."

Manganiello nodded. "Barebacking. Yes," he said. "I was like, 'Oh, I love it. It was so great.' He was like, 'You did!?' I'm like, 'Yeah! Totally!' Didn't read it. Then... that's what I get."

In March, Manganiello stopped by Cohen's SiriusXM radio show and revealed he didn't care for True Blood's 2014 finale. "I thought there was so much left on the table for me," Manganiello told Cohen. He was only supposed to be a guest star, but his character Alcide Herveaux connected with fans, so Manganiello stuck around Bon Temps for five years.

"My character had to get out of the way so that Sookie (Anna Paquin) could wind up settling the A and B plots with Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård), and the only way to get me out of the way was — spoiler alert — you know, to shoot me in the face," he said. "I really felt like there was a lot that was left unexplored."
