Joe Manganiello Forced Sofia Vergara to Become a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and revealed that she is a part of the “Steeler Nation” — through marriage.
Vergara’s husband, Joe Manganiello, grew up in Pittsburgh and has been a lifelong fan of the NFL franchise. When Vergara was asked if she has become a fan by proxy, she said, “I mean, after three years, it’s like he’s brainwashed me.”
The actress went on to say that Manganiello constantly swaps out her regular things, like coffee mugs, pens, and even nail files, with Pittsburgh Steelers logoed replacements.
While Vergara is admittedly a fan, she isn’t quite sure who the team’s future Hall of Fame quarterback is — Vergara just likes to call him Big Ben. But when Fallon pressed her for the QB’s last name, she said “Cheeseburger.” Hopefully Ben Roethlisberger was watching and got a laugh out of it.
