The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Gorga is officially an ordained minister.

On Sept. 13, Joe celebrated his achievement on Instagram in a video where he encouraged his family and friends to call him “Father Joe.” The 44-year-old got ordained in order to officiate the upcoming nuptials of his wife Melissa Gorga’s cousin, Nicholas Marco, and Marco's partner, meteorologist Mike Masco.

"I'm so honored to be officiating the marriage of my cousins this week," Joe captioned his post. “Can’t wait for you all to see it. Stay tuned. This gold seal makes it official!”

In the video, Joe was surrounded by the grooms, as well as family members Kim Marco Pirrella and Lysa Simpson as he showed off his certificate and a card certifying his status as a newly-minted minister.

“Get in here, get in here! Look at this,” Joe told his family as they crowded around the camera. "I’m official. I’m official.”

He continued, “Call me 'Father Joe.' Next weekend, next Saturday, I’ll be marrying Joe and Nick.” His family responded by chanting “Father Joe” as they congratulated the reality star on his new gig.

Minister is just the most recent job the construction company owner is adding to his resumé. For the last three years, he has also been dabbling in comedy and his next show is coming up in October. In his post, the RHONJ cast member also reminded his followers to come see his comedy show in New Jersey on Oct. 14.

“Don’t forget to come see me at my comedy show on [Oct. 14] in Princeton,” he added. “Get your tickets now link in bio.”

Joe’s comedy gig is a far cry from the drama he and Melissa often face on their hit Bravo series. In a June episode of RHONJ, Joe and his sister Teresa Giudice had a public falling out on-camera. Despite their argument, he didn’t rule out a reconciliation in the future. “I will never say never. You’re my only sister,” he said to Giudice during the episode.

Despite their disagreement, both Joe and Giudice, as well as Melissa, are returning to the Bravo series for season 14. RHONJ is expected to be back on Bravo in 2024.
