Joe Giudice of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' shares update on the coronavirus outbreak in Italy

Joe Giudice of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is experiencing the Italy coronavirus lockdown firsthand.

He doesn’t like what he sees.

“I feel the government’s can stop this,” said Giudice in an Instagram post Wednesday from Italy. “(The only companies making money are) internet base and stocks! Set us free! I didn’t imply humans dumb! There is a cure it should not lead to humans being (locked up) or caged! Our society is loosing face to face conversation cause of (social media) please don’t allow fear to take our social skills!”

Italy remains in a nationwide lockdown as confirmed coronavirus cases jumped past 10,000. The death toll stood at 631, second only to China, with an increase of 168 fatalities recorded Tuesday.

Giudice, husband of “RHONJ” star Teresa Giudice, is living in Sala Consilina, Italy after exiting ICE detention in the United States. As he was convicted for tax fraud, he was ordered out of the country as he’s not a U.S. citizen. He’s appealing the decision.

While he’s filmed himself walking the streets in Italy, he said he’s not breaking lockdown orders.

“I am not moving around the country,” said Giudice on Tuesday. “I am obeying the law going to work, shopping for family, and NO cafes, gym, and places like that.”

That belies an earlier post on Tuesday.

“More people die from Viagra (heart attacks and drug overdose) everyday than this Corona virus,” Giudice said. “People here are frantic because government is ridiculous with (lock)down !!!! Sorry Lock down not for me Never again!!!!! Stay safe (world) eat healthy, exercise, and no shaking hands.”

Viagra killed 1,824 people from 1998 to 2007, according to Psychology Today, while the coronavirus has taken the lives of at least 4,373 as of Wednesday afternoon.
