Group C contestants took the stage on “The Masked Singer” Wednesday night for “Billy Joel Night.” After singing their hearts out for panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora, Spaghetti & Meatballs and Lizard landed in the bottom two while Poodle Moth and Clock sailed into the next round. In the end, Spaghetti & Meatballs was forced to unmask revealing restaurateur and “MasterChef” judge Joe Bastianich. Watch his performance of “Only the Good Die Young” above.

“Singing is a passion for me my whole life,” he told host Nick Cannon during his unmasked interview. “When I got the opportunity to do this and share it with you all I jumped on it.” When asked what he’d like to say to his fans he responded, “Thanks for everyone who has supported me in my music and thank you guys for having me.”

Before Joe revealed himself the panelists each took one final guess at who they believed was hiding inside the Spaghetti & Meatballs costume. None of them were correct, believing the the carby crooner was Stanley Tucci (Robin), Guy Fieri (Jenny), Bobby Flay (Ken) or Gordon Ramsay (Rita).

Prior to his performance of “Only the Good Die Young” by Billy Joel, Spaghetti & Meatballs revealed in his clue package, “It’s me, Spaghetti & Meatballs. Throughout my career I’ve worn many different hates, searching for a life that’s full of flavor. I started out on Wall Street chasing the almighty dollar, but when it started to feel a little bit stale I raced after the dough and studied a whole new industry. Eventually I mastered the secret recipe to success. The biggest lesson I’ve learned? You don’t want to die young on a path you don’t love. So spice things up. The pasta-bilities are endless. Now I’m here at ‘The Masked Singer’ with a Billy Joel special.” Visual clues included an Italian village, a chef’s hat, a bank, a sports car and some salt and pepper.

Joe was the third celebrity revealed this season following Kevin Hart as Book and Savannah Chrisley as Afghan Hound.
