Joanna Coles Makes Shocking Announcement on Series Premiere of ‘So Cosmo’

On E’s series premiere of So Cosmo, we were offered up Cosmopolitan magazine’s world of tight deadlines, catty commentary, celebrity photo shoots, and lots and lots of clothes. Editor Joanna Coles is the sassy central figure who everyone pitches stories to, like “Tips and Sips,” a story about which manicures go with various cocktails.

When the staff wasn’t pitching stories, they worked on their bods and did the hard work of “interviewing” a new fitness coordinator, which involved seeing if he could do pushups with Diandra on his back.

We hope celebrity photo shoots will be in abundance, like the one with Ruby Rose. Adam could barely contain himself. “Did I mention she’s fabulous and amazing? I’m having a girl crush. I can’t even,” he said.

The episode got off to a great start, but things came to a screeching halt when Joanna Collins made a shocking announcement that she was leaving Cosmo and taking on a new role created for herself called chief content officer. Her staff was left wondering, what the heck is going to happen now?

So Cosmo airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on E.
