Joan Rivers’ longtime New York City penthouse has officially been removed from the market after three years of trying to find a buyer.

The palatial property served as the late comedian’s home for 28 years before she died at the age of 81 in 2014. According to property records, it sold in 2015 for $24 million and was later put back on the market in 2021 for $38 million. The home then received a price cut and was re-listed for $34.5 million this past June.

Located just steps away from Fifth Avenue, the abode boasts stunning views of Central Park and the surrounding skyline. The space was designed in the neo-French Classic style and offers four bedrooms, five bathrooms, two terraces, five wood-burning fireplaces and a ballroom.

Listing agents Dolly Lenz and Jennifer Lenz of Dolly Lenz Real Estate confirmed to PEOPLE that the property has been taken off the market. However, Jennifer adds that it could still be up for grabs for those who are serious about calling Rivers’ penthouse home.

“With Joan's massive following and the unrivaled provenance attached to the penthouse, it's no surprise that the home has garnered significant exposure throughout the world,” she says. “While not online, the property could be privately available for seriously interested parties.”
