Jlin Scores New Video Game “Songs of the Lost”

Jlin has scored a psychedelic new video game, called “Songs of the Lost.” She played some of the songs during her set at Sonar on July 19, and at “Queens of the Electronic Underground,” a Manchester Ideas Festival (MIF) event curated by the BBC’s Mary Anne Hobbs on July 20.

“Songs of the Lost” was created for the biennial artist-led festival by Canadian cartoonist and games designer Paloma Dawkins, using traditional 2D hand-drawn animation in a digital 3D space to create what the artist describes as a “magical-realist odyssey through a surreal and absurd digital landscape.” Watch a trailer for the game below.

“Songs of the Lost” is available to play now. You can download it here.
