Jimmy Kimmel's Son Loves the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Just as Much as Everyone Else

People are going crazy over a chicken sandwich. (Yes, you read that right). And now, one celebrity’s kid is getting in on the action. Jimmy Kimmel’s son Billy dug into the Popeyes chicken sandwich and the photos are too cute. The popular sandwich has eluded many hungry fans, but little Billy was not one of them.
In a quasi-before and after photo series, Kimmel captures his two-year-old son cautiously staring down the camera before taking a bite of the famed sandwich. In the second picture, the toddler looks absolutely elated after chowing down. “Even 2 yr olds can’t resist the #popeyeschickensandwich,” the talk show host captioned the adorable photos.

Billy is one of the lucky ones, however. While the toddler apparently enjoyed his sandwich, those who have sought it out have either found Popeyes completely sold out of the sandwich or enormous lines outside of the fast food joints. Even Gayle King couldn’t get her hands on the sandwich, as she lamented on Instagram that she and her nephew, Cameron Harrison, searched far and wide for the meal — well, not exactly. “We are SO psyched today nephew @cameronharrison6 ready to taste THEEE CHICKEN sandwich @popeyeslouisianakitchen,” the CBS This Morning host captioned an Instagram selfie of the pair outside a Popeyes in New York.

King then revealed that the pair went to 15 different locations but to no avail. “How do you run out of that sandwich on SUNDAY???!!!! May need therapy to recover,” King shared. Don’t fret though, King did eventually get her sandwich and gave a shout out to a loyal employee, too.
And as for little Billy Kimmel? Well, it sounds like being a celebrity’s kid has its share of tasty perks.
