Jimmy Kimmel to Raise Money for ALS After Staff Member Diagnosed With Disease (Video)

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is running a sweepstakes to raise money for ALS research after a staff member was diagnosed with the disease.

To encourage donations, Kimmel is offering to fly one pair of lucky winners out Los Angeles for a three-night stay at the Roosevelt Hotel — plus a live portrait-drawing session by Kimmel himself.

That’s just one of several celebrity experiences viewers can win by donating a minimum of $10 through the Prizeo and Charitybuzz-run sweepstakes.

In a video posted Thursday, which you can watch above, Kimmel encouraged viewers to donate to the cause, and teased what a VIP visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” would entail.

“After the show, you will come to my office and you will sit for a portrait drawing with one of the most famous artists in the world — me. I happen to be working on a portrait right now of one of my favorite subjects,” Kimmel says as the camera pans to a nude Guillermo Rodriquez — Kimmel’s famed security guard and television personality — holding nothing but a cluster of grapes.

“You don’t have to be nude, but that’s the way Guillermo wanted it,” Kimmel says.

Some of the other celebrity experiences fans can enter to win via Kimmel’s charity website include having dinner with Eric Stonestreet on the set of “Modern Family,” the chance to meet Norman Reedus and go home with a 2020 Harley-Davidson Low Rider, and a meet-and-greet with soccer player Zlatan Ibrahimović plus two tickets to an LA Galaxy game.
