Hopefully Marvel fans tuned into Jimmy Kimmel Live!: Game Night on Monday for the debut of an “exclusive, extended, excelsior” scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home. And Kimmel was extra-excited because he makes a cameo in the scene.
In the scene, Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker, is picking up his Spidey suit from a dry cleaner, played by Kimmel. The scene hangs on the anticipation that the dry cleaner is going to realize that Peter is Spider-Man.
The dry cleaner not only notices that the costume resembles that of the superhero on TV, he also questions the holes that he frequently has to repair. Apparently this is a popular cleaner for superheroes, because he also has Daredevil, Deadpool and the Hulk as customers.
This wasn’t the first time Kimmel has "made a cameo" in a superhero blockbuster. In 2016 he interrupted a dispute between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne in Batman v Superman.
Unfortunately, like most of Kimmel’s cameos, this won’t actually be in the movie — but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t super-entertaining. Plus, now fans are even more excited to see Spider-Man: Far From Home when it opens July 2.
