Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show’ to Air After ‘Sunday Night Football’ 5 Times This Fall (Video)

“The Tonight Show” is adding Sundays this fall. NBC said during the Television Critics Association press tour on Thursday that it will air five broadcasts of the Jimmy Fallon-hosted late-night series on Sunday nights following “Sunday Night Football.” The first Sunday “Tonight Show” will be on Sept. 8, after the defending champion New England Patriots open their season against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season debut of “SNF.” Fallon will air after the local news that follows the game. Jamie Foxx and Michael B. Jordan will be the guests that night, along with Kelly Clarkson, who will promote her upcoming NBCUniversal daytime talk show. Kane Brown will perform.
