Jimmy Fallon Back in Bandages

Jimmy Fallon appeared on The Tonight Show Monday night sporting an all-too-familiar look: bandages. Turns out the comedian had to have some corrective surgery over the weekend to repair nerve damage caused by his vicious finger injury earlier this year.

Jimmy was suffering from cubital tunnel syndrome, apparently caused by a blockage of his ulnar nerve. The injury was made worse by an earlier incident at the Emmy’s a few years back, in which he chipped his elbow.

Fortunately the prognosis is good, and the funnyman pleaded, “So just put up with my bandages for one more week, then I won’t do it [again]. I promise.”

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon air weeknights at 11:35pm on NBC.
