Jim Cramer apologizes for 'Crazy Nancy' remark in interview with Nancy Pelosi

CNBC's Jim Cramer found himself the target of online ire after he called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “Crazy Nancy” during a live interview Tuesday morning. Cramer was quick to point out that he only did it as a commentary on President Trump having done so on multiple occasions in the past. Cramer defended himself in a series of tweets, saying that he thinks it’s repulsive that Trump calls Pelosi that, and questioning if they can strike a deal on the new coronavirus relief bill with that kind of harsh tone in Washington. Despite the remark being “tongue-in-cheek,” Cramer apologized for the comment Tuesday night, saying it “fell completely flat” and reiterating the respect he has for Pelosi and her office.
