Jim Carrey Sees Red Over Migrant Child’s Death at Southern Border in Latest Artwork

Jim Carrey has a colorful response to the death of a 7-year-old girl who died in border patrol custody last week… and that color is red.

“Now an innocent seven-year-old girl has died of medical neglect because of Trump’s sadism at the border. If there’s a Hell…” Carrey wrote as a caption to his latest artwork: a tight portrait of President Trump, blood red and sweating.

Carrey’s creation references a young girl who was detained after illegally crossing into New Mexico with her father, Nery Caal, and a large group of migrants seeking asylum on Dec. 6. according the Department of Homeland Security. Eight hours after being in U.S. custody, she began to have seizures and her body temperature shot up to 105.7-degree fever.

She was transported to a hospital in El Paso, Texas, where she went into cardiac arrest and later died.
