Jillian Michaels shares old photo of herself at 175 pounds after criticizing Lizzo's weight

After catching heat for criticizing Lizzo's weight earlier this month, Jillian Michaels shared a throwback photo of herself at 175 pounds.

The personal trainer, 45, captioned the image, posted Wednesday, with her then-stats: "Here's me at 5'0 tall and 175 lbs. If I can do it - anyone can. Share your story..."

In the photo, we see Michaels' younger self holding up her hands with a pile of presents in her lap. She's sporting an oversized button-up, knee-length shorts and has her curly hair pulled back in a headband.

Michaels, best known for her stint on "The Biggest Loser," stirred up controversy last week during an appearance on BuzzFeed News’ "AM to DM" by questioning why Lizzo's body is praised.

When host Alex Berg mentioned Lizzo's body-positivity movement, Michaels interjected: "Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter? Why aren't we celebrating her music? 'Cause it isn't gonna be awesome if she gets diabetes."

Michaels continued: "I love her music. My kid loves her music. But there’s never a moment where I’m like, 'And I’m so glad that she’s overweight.' "

Even after being accused of body-shaming the Grammy-nominated singer, Michaels doubled down on her controversial comments Monday.

"Denying that there are serious health ramifications when we are overweight is just not a lie I’m willing to tell," Michaels told Extra TV.

Although Lizzo didn't address the controversy directly, during an interview on Australian talk show "The Project" Monday, she talked about body positivity and self-love.
