Jey Uso recently addressed the absence of the WWE Hall of Famer from his match against his brother, Jimmy Uso. At WWE WrestleMania 40, a brother vs. brother match occurred, where Jey Uso managed to defeat his brother, Jimmy Uso.

During the match buildup, many fans expected to see their father, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, involved in the matchup. However, fans were disappointed to see Rikishi not involved in the match, as many speculated that he would be the referee of the match.

During a recent interview with Alex McCarthy of the Daily Mail, Jey Uso was asked about his father not being involved in his WWE WrestleMania 40 match. He stated, “Hell yeah, I always wanted my dad involved, whether it be a referee. I just don’t think my dad could have kept up, just getting up and down, because referees, they’re doing like, push up burpees the whole match too, they’re getting a great workout. Maybe like a go home promo, just some kind of cool promo segment. There might be another time for it.”

Fans didn’t just express disappointment over Rikishi’s absence but were also dissatisfied with how the match between the brothers went. Jey Uso also admitted a few weeks ago that he and Jimmy Uso had somewhat disappointed the fans with their match.

Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso’s WWE reunion on the horizon

The match between Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso may not have met fans’ expectations. However, fans can look forward to the possibility of the brothers reuniting in WWE. Following WWE WrestleMania 40, Jimmy Uso was attacked by Solo Sikoa, who stated that losing has consequences. Jey Uso was questioned about the attack and mentioned that he had asked his brother to come with him.

Furthermore, Jimmy Uso faced an attack from Solo Sikoa and the debuting Tama Tonga. Currently, with WWE hosting the King of the Ring tournament, both Jey Uso and Tama Tonga are participants. Jey Uso has already reached the semi-finals of the tournament. Meanwhile, Tama Tonga secured a dominant victory over Angelo Dawkins.

It is possible that WWE might schedule a final match between Jey Uso and Tama Tonga, where the Bloodline could interfere. This interference might lead to Jimmy Uso aiding his brother, Jey Uso. This could potentially lead to a reunion between the Uso brothers.
