Knocking it out of the park! Sydney Rae Bass and husband Anthony Bass’ family always comes first — even when they are traveling the world for baseball.

Jessie James Decker’s sister, Sydney, first gained notoriety when she appeared on the singer’s E! reality series, Eric & Jessie. The show, which ran from 2013 to 2017, documented the Kittenish founder’s life with husband Eric Decker and their growing family. (Jessie and Eric share daughter Vivianne and sons Eric Jr. and Forrest.)

After making cameos on her sister’s show — and popping up all over her social media account — Sydney found her happiness with MLB player Anthony. The couple met in 2015 via Twitter and five months later they got engaged.

The lovebirds eloped in August 2016 while the professional athlete was playing ball in Japan. Sydney and Anthony later exchanged vows January 2017 in front of family and friends in Mexico.

Three months later, the pair announced they were expecting their first child together. “The best birthday present of all is knowing we will be parents to our sweet baby this fall ❤️ we can't wait! #babybass,” Sydney wrote via Instagram in April 2017.

Brooklyn Rae was born in September 2017. Following fertility ups and downs, the Southern Girl City Lights blogger and her husband expanded their brood by adopting daughter Blaire in October 2020.

“The best surprise and miracle we could ever ask for. I still cry thinking about our sweet baby in my belly,” Sydney wrote via Instagram in February 2023, announcing that she is pregnant and expecting the couple’s third child. “Thank you God 🤍😭🙏 Our little miracle baby is due this August.”

While Sydney and Anthony are used to the spotlight, not all of their newsworthy moments have been positive. In spring 2022, Sydney made headlines when her sister’s feud with their brother, John James, was publicized. James hinted at a falling out with Jessie and their mom during a May podcast appearance.

The “Boys in the Summer” singer, however, revealed in November 2022 via Instagram that the siblings’ relationship was on the mend. At the time, Jessie posted photos of all three James kids goofing off around the holidays.

John, for his part, sang Jessie’s praises in April 2023 while celebrating her birthday. “[I’m] so freaking grateful to have you as a sister and as a friend,” he wrote via Instagram.

That same month, Sydney was in the news after she was allegedly “humiliated” on a United Airlines flight. Jessie revealed via her Instagram Story in April 2023 that during a recent trip, Sydney’s youngest daughter, Blaire, “accidentally” spilled popcorn in the aisle.

“The flight attendant came up to Sydney with a trash bag, and a wet wipe, telling her the captain wants Syd to clean up every drop,” the Just Feed Me author claimed, noting her sister was five-months pregnant when the incident occurred.

The Blue Jays pitcher was also outraged by how the airline treated his pregnant wife and took to Twitter to slam United.

“The flight attendant @united just made my 22-week pregnant wife traveling with a 5-year-old and 2-year-old get on her hands and knees to pick up the popcorn mess by my youngest daughter,” he wrote via social media, noting that the airline provided the treat. “Are you kidding me?!?!”

Anthony later confirmed that “United Airlines is taking care of matters with the flight attendant internally.”
