Jessie James Decker is encouraging all moms to show their bodies some extra love.

In a vulnerable Instagram post shared on May 3, the “Lose Control” singer, 36, opened up about her postpartum body following the birth of her fourth child, Denver Calloway (whom she shares with husband Eric Decker) in February. The are also parents to daughter Vivianne, 10, and sons Eric, 8, and Forrest, 6.

Decker posted two photos of her modeling a peach bikini from her brand, Kittenish. In the caption, she admitted that she originally didn’t want to share the images online “because I weigh 30 pounds more right now than I did last year this time."

“Yes I know I just had a baby three months ago but it’s easy to compare on here and wonder why my body likes to hold on to it more than others,” she wrote of her post-baby figure. “The pressure we put on ourselves is not realistic.”

She reminded herself, and her fans who are new mothers going through the same journey, to lean into self-love.

“Be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. We are healing after growing a human being for nine months. And if you’re breastfeeding like me and your body needs to hold on to as much weight as possible to keep making milk, then let it. Focus on that sweet new baby because that’s what it’s all about.”

She reassured that there’s “plenty of time to ‘get back’ when it’s time” and ended her caption with a note of positivity. “You’re doing great and you got this girl!”

On her Instagram Stories, Decker shared more photos of the Kittenish bow-adorned bikini bottoms and underwire bra top, which she promised is “super supportive.”

Decker has been candid about her post-pregnancy appearance before.

In 2020, she wrote on Instagram that she felt “insecure” wearing a swimsuit because of the “loose skin” resulting from her first three births. She also revealed that she underwent a “few breast reduction surgeries and lifts” after her chest had grown to a size G from breastfeeding. The procedures left her with scars down to her cleavage.

Over the years, Decker’s relationship with her body has come a long way.

Back when she — and her husband, 37 — stripped down for a racy couple’s campaign for her brand’s Basics collection, Decker opened up to PEOPLE about how it's changed over the years.

The "I Still Love You" singer said staying "active and fit" is a priority, but she also prioritizes her mental health, especially after "struggling" with body confidence in the past.

"For me I was like — you know what, I want to get back to being healthy, eating cleaner, eating better being more active," she said. "Sometimes just writing down your thoughts and your emotions, feel like it kind of takes a weight off you and it's almost like a refresh, reboot, restart. That's what I did."
